We are thrilled to announce our very first ‘Mobile Phone Photography Contest’ on the captivating theme of ‘Nature.’ If you’ve ever marveled at the beauty of a blooming flower, been mesmerized by a serene sunset, or captured the wonder of wildlife on your smartphone, this contest is your chance to shine!
Nature, with all its splendor and diversity, provides endless opportunities for stunning mobile photography. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just getting started, this contest is an open invitation to share your perspective on the natural world.

Theme: Nature
Eligibility:
Students and Faculties of Udalguri College, only.
Rules:
- Eligibility: The contest is open to all the Students and Faculties of Udalguri College, only.
- Theme: All submitted photographs must align with the theme of ‘Nature.’ Images not related to this theme will be disqualified.
- Submission Deadline: Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM, 30-10-2023.
- Originality: All entries must be original photographs captured by the participants. Any form of plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in disqualification.
- Image Specifications: Submissions should be in JPEG/JPG format, with a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels or more. Excessive editing, coloring, including the addition of text, borders, or collages, is not allowed.
- Photo Date: The photo should be taken between 20th October to 30th October, 2023.
- The Meta Data of the image/photo should not be removed.
- Image File Name: Participants should rename their pictures with their name, class, stream & roll number. For Eg; Ram_5sem_Arts_95.jpeg. Here, ‘Ram’=name, ‘5sem’= Semester, ‘Arts’=Stream, ’95’=Roll Number.
- Number of Entries: Each participant is limited to 2 (two) Number of entries.
- Entry Fee: There is no entry fee for this contest.
- Submission Process: Entrants should submit their photographs through this google form and provide a brief description of their image. If submitting two images, submit the google form twice.
- Model Permission: If the photograph contains recognizable person, participants must obtain the necessary model releases and permissions. The absence of such releases may lead to disqualification.
- Judging: A panel of expert judges will evaluate the entries based on creativity, composition, and alignment with the theme.
- Prizes: Winners will be awarded with certificates for participation. Awards are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
- Usage Rights: By participating in the contest, participants grant the organizers the right to use their submitted images for promotional and exhibition purposes, with due credit to the photographer.
- Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries that violate any of the contest rules or exhibit inappropriate content.
- Results: The winners will be announced tentatively by 03-11-2023 the contest platform, College notice board, and official college website.
- By participating in this contest, entrants acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these rules.
