Grievance Redressal
An institution succeeds in fulfilling its aims and objectives only when it addresses the grievances of its stake holders, particularly of the students and employees, promptly and judiciously. Therefore, the college keeps a sound system in place for grievance redressal. A specially empowered cell is formed for such a purpose and any of the stakeholders can approach the cell with their grievances. The cell also works as anti-ragging and anti-sexual harassment cell as well.
Anti-ragging Policy
In order to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging, the College has implemented the regulations notified by the University Grants Commission on curbing the Menace of Ragging in the institutions. The students found guilty of ragging are liable for punishment as prescribed in the UGC as well as the State Government’s regulations.
Policy Against Sexual Harassment:
The College is committed to providing a place of work and study free of sexual harassment, intimidation or exploitation. It is expected that the students, staff and visitors are treated with respect. Anyone violating this policy is subject to disciplinary action. Reports of sexual harassment are taken seriously and are dealt with promptly.
The College administration has formed the following Sub-committee under the guidance of the IQAC as GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL, ANTI RAGGING & ANTI-SEXUAL HARESHMENT CELL. The Cell will function as an agency between the complainant and the College Administration and ensure fast and free and fair handling of issues.
